Beautiful Day

I always look forward to the weekends as I treasure spending quality time with my family. Easter weekend was the perfect occasion to get out and breathe in some of the wonderful buds that have been sprouting. On Sunday, we walked down the street to the historic Trinity Church at the intersection of Broadway and Wall St. for a charming Easter egg hunt.

Upon entering the church grounds, which is actually one of the oldest (and coolest) cemeteries in the US, we were greeted with Spring in all her glory. Blooming dogwood and cherry blossom trees, tulips and daffodils were the backdrop for all of the Easter festivities. Lyla particularly enjoyed the puppet parade and made friends with one very large mouse.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend and got to spend quality time with your loved ones as well…after all, isn’t that what life is all about?

::XOXO::
